GYRO 3rd Generation AMR - Narrow-body Robot

The 3rd Generation AMR with a width of 60 centimeters, is the result of a year-long focus on development.  The design of this AMR enables efficient operation in facilities with a width of 0.88 meters, accommodating four FOUPs and metal boxes.

Gyro's impressive development in the field of Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs) over the years is noteworthy. In 2020, Gyro launched its first-generation omni-wheel AMR, which had a width of 60 centimeters and could accommodate two 200-millimeter open boxes. This initial design laid the foundation for automated material handling in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Building on the success of the first generation, Gyro made significant progress in 2021 by introducing the second-generation omni-wheel AMR with a width of 72 centimeters. This upgraded version could accommodate four FOUPs (Front Opening Unified Pods), fulfilling Gyro's commitment to enhancing efficiency and productivity in semiconductor wafer fabs. The design, crafted with years of accumulated experience, has also seen many imitations in the industry.

Furthermore, Gyro expanded the functionality of its AMR platform by integrating various configurations to handle different products. These include accommodating four 200-millimeter open boxes, boxes for 200-millimeter and 300-millimeter metal wafers, 12 metal boxes for WB (Wire Bonding), reticles, transport robots, and more. This versatility showcases Gyro's ability to adapt to the evolving needs of semiconductor manufacturers and provide customized solutions for different stages of the production process.

We are pleased to announce the development of our third-generation omni-wheel AMR (Automated Mobile Robot). This narrow-body robot, with a width of 60 centimeters, is the result of a year-long focus on development. After several months of rigorous testing, we are excited to announce that the new AMR is now ready for deployment.

The design of this AMR enables efficient operation in facilities with a width of 0.88 meters, accommodating four FOUPs and metal boxes. Additionally, we are actively integrating other payloads onto this platform to further enhance its functionality and adaptability.

We are eager to share a video showcasing the latest features of Gyro's AMRs. Please stay tuned for the latest updates from Gyro as we continue to innovate and improve our automation solutions.
